Brocade® File Lifecycle Manager® (FLM) is an administratively defined, policy-based solution that manages the lifecycle of file data on NetApp storage systems. Based on the data’s relative value and lifecycle stage, Brocade FLM places that data on the appropriate storage device. This approach enables administrators to reduce the total cost of storage by analyzing, classifying, organizing, moving, blocking, and deleting file data using policies that reflect the business value of data.
